KLIIN is currently looking for an ACCOUNTING/ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIAN

JOB DESCRIPTION:

ACCOUNTING

  • Perform bookkeeping of accounts receivable and payable
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Proceed to the invoicing of the customers
  • Make bank deposits
  • Follow up on invoicing and fill out accounting information
  • Perform collection
  • Prepare payroll
  • Prepare sales reports
  • Produce financial statements from the accounting system
  • Prepare and make government remittances (GST/QST, DAS, etc.)
  • Participate in the development and updating of management tools (inventory system, management of the product creation system)
  • Participate in the improvement of administrative processes and the development of intelligent management tools
  • Maintain the commission register of the representatives
  • All other related tasks

CUSTOMER SERVICE/INSIDE SALES SUPPORT

  • Processing of customer orders
  • Administrative support for sales
  • Take customer service calls from consumers and retailers
  • Production management
  • General office support
  • All other related tasks

QUALITIES AND APTITUDES SOUGHT

  • Great organizational skills, planning of files to be processed and good management of priorities
  • Sense of responsibility and good judgment
  • Thoroughness, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to concentrate on writing quality reports
  • Good problem solving skills, either alone or in collaboration with a manager
  • Analytical skills and ability to synthesize information in order to make decisions that are well analyzed and studied before execution
  • Autonomy and ability to work in a team
  • Leadership, dynamism, positivism. Ability to show initiative
  • Experience with the manufacturing industry is an asset
  • Discretion and customer focus
  • Good stress management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of Excel analytical functions (pivot tables)
  • Knowledge of Account Edge software is an asset
  • Knowledge of major retailer platforms an asset (EDI, Commerce Hub, Supplier Hub etc)
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel


Work schedule : 

Part-time (equivalent to 3 days/week)
Possibility of full time with other administrative tasks.
Variable schedule
